Even in darkness, light can be found

This scene caught my eye when walking through the forest. I am always struck by an unexpected appearance of light.
A Gift to Dedicated Public Servants
If you are involved in activism and resistance, this is for you. We all need tools for recovery and rest to gear up for the next round. Let’s support each other for endurance.
Look for the Light
When all around you looks dark, look for the light, even if it is only a pinpoint.
Behind a cloudy sky at night, the full moon’s glow can still shine through. In the city, when you look up at the night sky you might see 5 stars – if you’re lucky. Keep in mind that if you were in the desert, or other dark sky area, you would see the blanket of stars that were there all along, hiding from your city view.
Even in a dark forest, here and there you will notice a clearing, with a spot of sunlight on the ground. There might even be a few lonely flowers reaching for the precious light.
Think about the light that is not visible to the naked eye, but exists just the same. Take time to make the connection to your present circumstances and allow the light to enter in.
Breathe and Restore
When all is chaos around you, go outside, take some deep breaths and look up. Know that there is much more up there that you cannot see. Just like the stars that continually exist whether we see them or not, God is all around us and in us. We are not alone.
