Make a Tree Puzzle
Don’t forget you can make things with your hands. Take a break from the screen and keyboard and get the benefits of handcrafts with this paper puzzle of the tree. It’s not just any tree. It’s made of pieces you download, print, color, cut out and fit together.
Browse all the photos of the fun I had with this puzzle. Use these photos for reference when you construct your tree. You can do your own version and improve on my design. Print as many as you need for groups to work together and make a forest!
As your hands are busy you will appreciate the complexity of the tree from its maze of roots deep underground to its trunk, branches and countless leaves. You even position nieghboring small plants with their own roots underground and a ground hog looking out of its underground tunnel.
See the list of materials and tools needed below the photo gallery.
